This tool converts DWG and DXF files to PDF.
AutoCAD uses the DWG and DXF drawing formats for enabling exchange of data between CAD systems. Since its release it has become industry standard and both versions have gone through several revisions by the manufacturer. These include R2.5 through to the 2013 version. The tool presents an intuitive interface and thus is very simple to use. Most users should be able to get productive very quickly. The batch processing capability provides the means to process a bunch of files at one time. Creating a batch list or files to be processed is simple. You could even use a folder of files with just one click. Quite often in collaborative scenarios of today, not all partners need to be able to manipulate the CAD drawings. They can make do with a drawing image in PDF. They would not then need to invest in a CAD seat.
The program is standalone. Thus when converting drawing files to PDF you do not need the help of any other tools; AutoCAD or Acrobat. To make things even simpler, the pro version offers a command line interface. When users get experienced, they would be able to get a batch of files executed very easily. A list of parameters that can be used with the commands is available. This utility is compatible with Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, and 7. The trial version could be used for 30 executions. That should be enough to determine if the tool makes sense for you. This is a good tool when you have a need.
